I know that the essential experience of black men and women has always been different, but from the time I was a girl to now, I never thought the police were my enemy. And to be truthful, we have to say, the problem that black people face, the trauma of white supremacy in our lives, is not limited to police brutality. b.h.: I don't think that has changed for most black people.
