          Rev. Virgilio P. Elizondo, visiting professor for the Institute for Latino Studies and theology at the University of Notre Dame, will join Puerto Rican pop singer Ricky Martin and Mexican-American Olympic gold-medal speed skater Derek Parra in receiving a 2002 Hispanic Heritage award during a ceremony Sept. 20 (Friday) at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington.p.
