          The University of Notre Dame is among 38 leading private colleges and universities to join in a brief supporting the University of Michigan’s affirmative action policies now under challenge in a case before the U.S. Supreme Court of the United States.p. "At Notre Dame we believe it is imperative that our incoming classes reflect, as much as possible, the diversity of our nation, and we feel that our mix of students from all over the U.S. and the world adds to the educational experience,? said Rev. Edward A. Malloy, C.S.C., University president.p.
