Published: February 25, 2003 Author: Margee Macdonell Harvey Bender, professor of biological sciences and director of the Human Genetics Program at the University of Notre Dame, will present a lecture titled “Genetic Developments and the Brave New Millennium” at 7 p.m. March 10 (Monday) at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Calif. The lecture is free and open to the public and will be preceded by a reception.p. A longtime professor of genetics and a practicing geneticist, Bender has been a member of the Notre Dame faculty since 1960.
