The play, written by Plautus in 220 B.C., inspired Shakespeare to writeThe Comedy of Errors,which will be performed by Notre Dames professional theatre in residence in August. The Young Company is comprised of theater students from Notre Dame and Saint Marys College who are mentored by professional actors from the main stage production, and who participate simultaneously in the main stage production and in a show produced specifically for them.
