          Joseph P. Marino, currently chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Michigan, has been appointed dean of the University of Notre Dame’s College of Science, according to Nathan O. Hatch, Notre Dame’s provost. The appointment is effective in the summer of 2002.p.
