          James A. Roemer, director of community relations for the University of Notre Dame, has received the second annual Ed Dargis Community Leader Award from the Michiana Coalition on Alcohol and Other Drugs. The award is named for the late community activist who devoted many years to the development of treatment programs for alcohol and other drug dependencies.p.
