          Rev. Edward A. Malloy, C.S.C., president of the University of Notre Dame, issued the following statement today on the death of Indiana Gov. Frank O?Bannon over the weekend:p. "On behalf of Notre Dame, I want to extend our deepest sympathies to the O’Bannon family. May God grant you strength during this time of profound sorrow. Governor O?Bannon was a man of great personal integrity, and he will be missed.p. “We extend, as well, our prayers and support to Joe Kernan and others leaders as they direct the affairs of our state while also coping with their own loss of a friend and colleague.”
