Gutmann, the Laurance S. Rockefeller University Professor of Politics at Princeton, has taught political philosophy, democratic theory, the history of political thought, and practical ethics. She is the author, co-author or editor of 13 books, most recently “Identity Groups in Democracy: A Humanist Perspective.”p.
