The conference group, in which Notre Dame regularly takes part, meets annually to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences on the challenges that face modern Catholic Universities: curriculum, spirituality, leadership and research. Nanovic Institute Director A. James McAdams, Dr. William M. Scholl Professor of International Affairs, will chair a panel and give a keynote presentation onHiring in a Catholic University: Challenges, Limitations and Practices. The symposium is an opportunity for Notre Dame tostrengthen relationships and have an impact upon future generations of prominent academic leaders as they face the challenges and conflicts in building great Catholic universities,McAdams said. Other institutions attending the Ukrainian symposium include the Catholic Universities of Lublin, Poland; Ružomberok, Slovakia; and the Pázmány Péter Catholic University of Budapest, Hungary.
