They may be viewed tomorrow night, Saturday, at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 p.m. We are sorry for any inconvenience.  “Under the Dome: Celebrating 175 Years of Notre Dame,” a 3D mapping projection video that uses the architecture of the Main Building and Basilica of the Sacred Heart as a canvas to bring to life great moments in the University’s history, will premiere at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 p.m. May 18 (Friday) and May 19 (Saturday) on the Main Quad of the campus. Projection mapping is a technology that turns often irregularly shaped objects such as buildings into a display surface for video projection. The creators can add artistic dimensions, optical illusions and notions of movement to enhance the viewing experience. The “Under the Dome” video will be augmented by musical accompaniment. The 25-minute video is free of charge and open to the public. For the best view, attendees are encouraged to gather on the Main Quad between the front steps of the Main Building and the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
