Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, will present her winning entry in the Notre Dame Law School’s 2001 Feminist Jurisprudence Writing Competition at 4 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 6) in the Law School’s Barry Moot Courtroom.p. Milczarek-Desai, now a clerk for Judge Ruth V. McGregor of the Arizona Supreme Court, won a $1,000 prize for her paper, which is titled “(Re)Locating Other/Third World Women: An Alternative Approach to Santa Clara Pueblo v. Martinez’s Construction of Gender, Culture and Identity.”p. The Feminist Jurisprudence Writing Competition was established in 1993 with a gift from Marilyn Ashbaugh, formerly a project coordinator in the Office of Information Technology at Notre Dame.
