          Testifying on the reauthorization of the Corporation for National Service, Rev. Timothy R. Scully, C.S.C., executive vice president of the University of Notre Dame, Thursday (April 25) told the House Select Subcommittee on Education how partnerships with AmeriCorps have helped Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program dramatically expand its commitment to serve disadvantaged children, especially those from traditionally under-educated minority groups.p.
