The increased efforts, which include distribution of trash bags to tailgaters in the parking lots by student volunteers and the presence of recycle bins for fans inside the stadium, will be in effect for the annual blue-gold football game, which begins at 1:30 p.m., and will continue for each home game during the upcoming season. Recyclable items include glass bottles, plastic water bottles, plastic beverage cups and cardboard containers.
