Eight banners, four floor treatments, wall signage and a 20-second recurring video at the baggage carousel will be in place for at least one year. In the coming weeks, a Notre Dame-themed lounge area will also be installed. Banners hanging from the concourse ceiling highlight themes of the University’s mission, including faith, undergraduate and graduate studies, research, international reach, athletics, and service. Text on the banners describes how the University is “boldly fighting” to make the world a better place. The floor treatments display images of places faculty and students transverse daily, in the Main Building, Law School, Notre Dame Stadium and Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center. The video will be shown on monitors in the baggage claim area and features the 175th anniversary logo as well as a portion of the themes on the banners.
