          On behalf of my wife, Jane, and all our family I want to thank everyone in the Notre Dame family and the South Bend community for all their prayers, hopes and comforting words during this difficult time for us.p. We would like to thank all the men and women who worked so hard to try to find Chad—the Notre Dame police, South Bend and St. Joseph County police, the South Bend Fire Department and ordinary citizens and students.p.
