Brown The Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Notre Dame is ranked 23rd nationally among entrepreneurship programs, according to a survey of college and university business schools announced today by U.S. News&World Report.p. Overall, the MBA program in Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business remained among the top tier in the U.S. News rankings at No. 29.p. “It takes a lot of people?faculty, staff, students, alumni?to develop an effective entrepreneurship program, and ours truly is a team effort,” said James Davis, Ray and Milann Siegfried Director of Entrepreneurial Studies and associate professor of management. “In many ways, the entrepreneurial culture of Notre Dame has grown incredibly in recent years, and this ranking is a reflection of that.”p. The Gigot Center was established in 1998 with a $2 million gift from 1972 Notre Dame graduate Gary E. Gigot, a private investor. The center offers internships, sponsors several business plan competitions, operates a small business incubator, and provides a broad-based curriculum that gives Notre Dame students the entrepreneurial skills that will enable them to convert ideas into market possibilities.p.
