Garvey The University of Notre Dame is a top choice for parents of college applicants, according to an annual survey of prospective students and their parents by the Princeton Review. In the survey of some 12,715 college applicants and 3,007 parents of applicants, Notre Dame ranked fourth as a “dream college” among parents of college applicants. Notre Dame ranked behind Harvard, Stanford and Princeton Universities as a parental dream, and ahead of fifth-ranked Yale. This year’s findings are based on surveys completed on paper or online by students and parents from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. One of the nation’s most selective universities, Notre Dame is the nation’s highest rated Catholic university and among the top 20 overall. Notre Dame has been ranked in the top 10 of the Princeton Review survey each year since its inception in 2003.
