          Tamari Gurevic, a 1996 University of Notre Dame alumnus with a master of music in piano performance, was awarded the Grand Prix at a piano competition held in Porto, Portugal, during the first two weeks of October, and also received a special prize for the best performance of the Debussy Preludes, a requirement of the competition.p.
