Kosanovich, a chemical engineering professor at the University of South Carolina who earned both her master’s degree in 1983 and her doctorate in 1986 in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame, recently received the Dow Outstanding New Faculty Award for 1998 from the American Society of Engineering Education.p.
