The Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Notre Dame has created a new business plan competition for family firms that is thought to be the first of its kind in the nation.p. The inaugural Dorothy Dolphin Notre Dame Family Business Plan Competition is accepting entries through Dec. 13. Entrants must submit a two- to three-page overview and a registration form, which is available by calling (574) 631-3042. The competition is open to full-time Notre Dame undergraduate and graduate students and alumni. Team entries must include at least one member who is a Notre Dame graduate or a current student.p.
