INN Records of the Morris Inn. Photographic prints, slides, negatives, and transparencies, most of the Morris Inn and the remainder of campus scenes and activities, 1940s-1990s (bulk 1990s). Objects include six Reed and Barton Silver Soldered 96 ounce coffee pots stamped "University of Notre Dame" (probably originally used in the South Dining Hall); two ladles (one stamped "Morris Inn"); one International Silver Company Silver Soldered dish stamped "Morris Inn"; ten menu holders; Sorin's Lunch Menu, Spring 2011 (4 copies); The Morris Inn's Mother's Day Dinner Menu, 13 May 2012 (3 copies); and fifteen restaurant reservation books, 1996-2010. Some of the reservation books will probably be discarded in the future (once other records from the Morris Inn have been received). One old metal sign about 34" x 60" that reads "Morris Inn / Guest Rooms / Air Conditioned / Dining Room / Open" on both sides (one side is splattered by paint); a Reed and Barton silver soldered 96 ounce coffee pot (probably previously used in the South Dining Hall); and a framed mission statement for the Morris Inn and Notre Dame Conference Center. The Morris Inn is the hotel on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, owned and operated by the university.
